I'm part of a multidisciplinary team at Philips Healthcare's Innovation Hub, collaborating with designers, clinicians, researchers, and technologists to develop innovative patient monitoring solutions that deliver accurate, real-time data for safe, effective care. Previously, I worked on AI diagnostics to optimize radiology workflows, enhancing screening, diagnosis, and treatment processes.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, and raised in the U.S., I’m fluent in English and Spanish. I earned a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, with a focus on Nature, Culture, and Sustainability Studies. My design philosophy emphasizes empathy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and creative problem solving, a perspective shaped by RISD’s strong craft and making principles. Outside of work, I’m driven by ambitious fitness goals ranging from full and half Ironman triathlons (140.6, 70.3) to the 75 Hard Challenge and CrossFit. To keep my mind sharp, I practice Vipassana Meditation, cultivating awareness and equanimity. Photography is one of my greatest passions; I love telling stories through landscapes and portraits as I travel the world. I also built a thriving social media presence for my orange cat, growing a community of over 463K followers. I live by a minimalist, joy-filled philosophy, always chasing adventure, whether that means skydiving, riding roller coasters, or simply seeking meaning in everyday moments.
